Photoshooting & Video | Mimis The Source of Glasses

A REWISE PRODUCTION
For the summer collection of the brand Mimis Gialia, we created a photography and video shoot that exudes the sense of carefreeness, pure elegance and minimal aesthetics of the Greek summer. Our goal was to highlight the uniqueness of the handmade frames through a visual narrative that combines the spontaneity of nature with the design character of the products. The result is a campaign full of light, movement and transparency, with the backdrop of the beach and the private pool of a carefully selected residence in Sounio.
Starting from a moodboard with strong references to natural elegance and the Greek summer, we emphasized authenticity and timeless simplicity. We chose two models – a man and a woman – who reflect the brand’s unpretentious coolness, and meticulously styled them with clothing and accessories that discreetly frame the glasses without overshadowing them. The direction focused on natural movement, the interaction with light, and the use of water as a metaphor for freedom and purity.
The shoot took place in two main locations – the beach and the pool of a bright, architecturally clean Airbnb in Sounio. The choice of settings was based on the natural palette and the way the sunlight “falls” on the glasses. We worked with alternations between close-ups and wider framings,
reflecting the lighthearted summer vibe. The video complements the visuals with movement, capturing the flow of an authentic summer day – elegant, airy and unpretentious.
